Our staff helps you choose the right route and plan a safe and memorable backcountry adventure. Every Jeep in our fleet is well-maintained and ready for the terrain that makes Moab famous.
All Jeep rentals include 10 hours of drive time, with options for multi-day rentals and discounted rates. Each rental includes 200 free miles per day and convenient, complimentary shuttles to our office from hotels or campgrounds within 10 miles of our downtown location. If you use our night before courtesy checkout, your rental becomes a full 24-hour rental at no extra charge! Every Jeep comes stocked with a cooler of ice and water and a local trail guide. All vehicles include automatic transmissions, air conditioning, and XM satellite radio.
Canyonlands Jeep Rentals is also the only Moab company that offers real-time tracking. If you run into problems on the trail, our team can locate you and help quickly.
We also guarantee your reservation. If your Jeep is not available due to a breakdown or other unforeseen circumstances, we cover a one-day rental cost. Our downtown office makes pick up and drop off simple, and we offer evening pick up at no additional charge, so you can hit the trails early and make the most of your day in the Utah backcountry. Is the CDW(collision damage waiver) coverage $40 per day, or is it a one-time charge?
The CDW insurance is $40 per day. CDW is required for International Renters that do not have valid full-coverage insurance based in the United States. We do not accept insurance issued through Credit Card companies. CDW has a $3000 deductible that the renter is responsible for at time of claim.
Do you give trail recommendations or advice for Jeep Rentals?
All jeep rentals include our Moab trail guide,and are happy to help you plan your trails according to what you want to see and your skill level. Our trail guide includes many great trails which we recommend, t as well as trails we prohibit our jeep rentals on d due to difficulty and extreme wear and tear they put on our vehicles. The trail guide contains a list of these prohibited trails in the Moab area.
Do you offer guided jeep tours?
No, we only offer self-guided jeep rentals.
Do you offer insurance we can purchase, or do I have to provide my own?
You must provide your own full- coverage insurance; however, we do offer an additional one time $25 glass and tire coverage. The glass and tire coverage covers damage to the windshield or damage to one tire. Very rarely do we have tire damage, most damage is to windshield wear they often get cracked or broken by a passing vehicle on dirt roads. We highly recommend the glass and tire coverage when renting vehicles that are going to be traveling on non-paved roads.
Do you allow debit cards?
No, debit cards are not accepted. Only credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) are accepted.
What is the cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy states that if you cancel seven days, or less, prior to your reservation, it is a charge equivalent to the amount of a one-day rental.
Can I do a one way drop outside of Moab?
No, we do not offer one way rentals outside of our two locations in- town and at Canyonlands Regional Airport.
Do you offer half day rentals?
No, we only offer our full day rentals which begin at 8:00am and end at 6:00pm. We do allow night before pickups depending on availability of vehicles. Please call us at 435-259-4413 and ask if a night before pickup is available.
How old do you have to be to rent a jeep?
You must be 25 years or older to rent a jeep from Canyonlands Jeep and Car Rentals.
Do you offer a complimentary shuttle service?
Yes, you are within a 10-mile radius of our downtown Moab location. we can come pick you up and bring you to our in-town location to rent a jeep or car.
